December
Has been good. I’m now working full time, at a job that I love.
I haven’t done anything besides Christmas and Hot Damn while Caitlin was down.
Tomorrow night should hopefully be good. Hopefully.
This year has ruled. I’m 18, out of school, in a steady job, awaiting University acceptance, I’m finally getting somewhere.
November
I went to Tonight Alive at Gosford the night before my last physics exam, was smart. Was probably my favourite show of theirs that I’ve been to, and I’ve seen like 16 times now?
I Call Fives at Newcastle. It was awesome. I didn’t expect a Newcastle crowd, at all. Some locals scene kids told us we missed out because we missed some local crabcore band because they were the only...
October
Sucked.
HSC.
September
Another huge month.
The Title Fight/Touché Amoré tour was ridiculous. Jeremy Bolm is one of the best frontmen ever. You could hear him screaming without his mic, over the fucking crowd. Title Fight too. Like just to be in a room knowing 50% of the people was awesome, but sharing Title Fight with them was too cool.
I was drinking out of sandwich bags at Nowhere. It was the coolest thing ever. I...
August
Big month. Awesome month. Kicked off with Does it Offend You, Yeah? followed by me and Mitchell’s first trip to Hot Damn!
I finished up my trial exams with Dead Letter Circus/Closure In Moscow, which was awesome. Highways the day after, who have always been fun to see. And then Balance and Composure at Nowhere, which was mind blowing. They played an acoustic set the next day, which made up...
July
I finally turned 18, and that was an awesome day. Keshni and I had planned to get lip tattoos, but then we decided that we were too broke. We went to Max Brenner and then Pitt St Mall where I had Gusman Y Gomez and Keshni had a chilli dog from Snag Stand, which she couldn’t eat :’D My hotel was awesome. Then Lily, Lizzy, Sophie and I went to Mad Mex, then Tonight Alive.
The next day...
June
Nothing too much happened this month. Tate and I went to Heroes for Hire’s album launch for no reason. I walked in and Lauren and I were wearing the same TWY shirt. That was cool, so I almost pushed her over in the circle pit.
May
Was most likely the best month of the year. Groovin’ the Moo was actually so good this year. I manage to get barrier 4 times throughout day. Darwin Deez are one of the most entertaining bands I’ve seen. I’m still fauning over The Drums, ever though they had the worst sound guy ever. Seeing House of Pain play Jump Around at a bogan festival in the middle of woop-woop was just so...
April
Was exciting just because I knew how much of a big month May was going to be. The countdown for May started early April and the anticipation was ridiculous. I saw Good Charlotte which was actually one of the best night’s ever. Easter holidays were bland, just because all I did was work and study.
March
Was a calm month, I kept on changing the argument for my major work in Society and Culture, which was killing me. I didn’t get to go to a gig until the last week, where I saw Your Demise the night before my half-yearly exams - and was the only person who really knew who the were.
February
This month slaughtered the average month in January. I actually hung out with Keshni for the whole day, skipping school to line up for Tonight Alive. Seeing Andrew McMahon on his solo tour was phenomenal, I met Sarah again that day, and saw a few friends that I hadn’t seen in over a year. School seemed to getting better and better. Erin, Emily, Mitchell and I unintentionally formed a study...
January
This month didn’t reach what I had actually anticipated the year was going to throw at me, due to the fact that 2010 was that good of a year for me. January was actually intensely mediocre. Being the studious student I was so famous for, I sat at home, and re-wrote all my notes whilst simultaneously watching How I Met Your Mother - absolute pointless study. I missed seeing La Dispute because...
2011
I generally thought that 2010 was going to be the best year of my life. Strange how much a perfect year can be exceeded. Now, I can’t go to a show in Sydney without knowing at least one person, and I have good friends in Brisbane, Melbourne and Adelaide as well. And it’s not even just friends that have made this year awesome, so many bands have toured Australia that I was not expecting...

Will be staying at Mosman with my Nan for the Sydney leg.
AJ needs to hurry up and give me my I Am The Avalanche/Fireworks sidewave on the Monday
Will be hitting up A Day To Remember/The Used and You Me At Six on the Tuesday - more excuses...

and continuing with that. Why the fuck would anyone want to leave Australia to move to another country? This place is just way too great.
Christmas this year...
Ruled so freaking hard. It was just such a stereotypical Australian Christmas - pool, barbecue, family, hot, blue skies, chilled, beer, prawns etc - and just so good to be around family for the whole day.
Merry Christmas tumblr.
